Restaurant Report Card: Health Department grades for FoCo restaurants

(Forsyth County, GA) NewsBreak is offering readers a restaurant report card presented each week. Here are the grades scored by the Forsyth County Health Department during inspections conducted between July 20-27, 2023:

  • Chick-fil-A (3643 Peachtree Parkway) Grade A-94. The inspector observed utensils used for chicken were not clean to sight and touch. The inspector observed utensils stacked wet.
  • House of Hummus (425 Peachtree Parkway) Grade A-100.
  • Marco’s Pizza (2840 Keith Bridge Road) Grade A-92. The inspector observed the hand sink blocked by a rolling tray cart. The inspector observed the food handler not wearing a beard restraint.
  • McDonald’s (2815 Keith Bridge Road) Grade A-96. The inspector observed an employee's phone stored on a cooler beside the grills. The inspector noted live flies in the kitchen by the back door.
  • WNB Factory (3840 Keith Bridge Road) Grade A-96. The inspector observed flour and sugar bulk storage containers missing labels. The inspector observed single service cups stored in spice containers.
