(Forsyth County, GA) The Easter weekend egg-citement is over. But the fun in Forsyth County continues. Here’s a look at some events happening this Earth Day and weekend:

Explorer Tots is on April 22 from 11:00 a.m to 11:45 a.m. at the Cumming Library. The event is for babies and toddlers to learn through exploration.

Ready, Set, Preschool! is on April 22 at the Hampton Park Library from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. This is a school readiness program for children ages 3-5, but they must attend with a caregiver. For more information, click here.

Masterminds LEGO Lounge! is Friday, April 22, from 4:00 p.m to 4:45 p.m. at the Post Road Library. Create with LEGO at the library!

A Preschool Play Lab is on April 22 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the Sharon Forks Library. Educate and entertain your preschooler at the library. For more information, click here.

Earth Day Celebration is April 23 at the Hampton Park Library from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Celebrate Earth Day with interactive booths, talks, nature walks, and prizes with the Georgia Master Naturalists.

Cherry Street Brewing’s Spring Beer Fest, benefiting the Humane Society of Forsyth County, is on April 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Head to Halcyon for a family-friendly beer fest featuring more than 20 Cherry Street beers on tap, along with more than 50 beers from an invitational guest list, craft vendors, and a kids zone. This event is sponsored by J&M Roofing.

Stop by Halcyon for some “Groovin’ on the Green” every Friday and Saturday this month. Take in the tunes from local musicians while enjoying food and drinks from the many restaurants at Halcyon. Get more information about the music series here.

Saturday Family Storytime is April 23 from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Post Road Library.

Anslee Davidson is performing April 23 at Greenfield Farms from 6:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. in Cumming. The “Y’all Ball” benefits Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Children’s Heart Center. For more information, visit here.

Adult MakerDay: Simple String Art is April 24 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Post Road Library. Create something new each month at this adults-only craft program! This month’s activity is some easy string art without hammers.

Capoeira: An Afro-Brazilian Martial Art - Athletics Around the World Series is April 24 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 the Hampton Park Library. This presentation by Capoeira Maculelê Atlanta covers all aspects of Capoeira: martial arts, dance, music, acrobatics, culture, language, and more.

Halcyon’s Sunday Funday, happening weekly until May 29, includes live music, crafts, and vendors. Activities vary each week. Bring your furry friends along. For more information, visit here.
