A refreshing Lime Cream Pie for Summer 21

Summer is here, and so are the frozen treats. It is the best time to try out some lime pie, and here is one for you to try. You can try the Key Lime Cream Pie at your home and enjoy the freshness of the pie.


Pecan shortbread cookies, crushed (about 2 cups)

1/3 cup butter, melted

4 cups heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup confectioners' sugar

Coconut extract

Cream cheese softened

Sweetened condensed milk

Key lime juice

Sweetened shredded coconut, toasted

Maraschino cherries with stems and sliced Key limes


Step 1

Take a bowl and crush the cookies and butter. In a large bowl, beat cream until it thickens. Add the sugar and extract, beat until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, condensed milk, and lime juice. Fold in 2 cups and spoon into the crust.

Step 2

Top with the remaining whip cream and sprinkle toasted coconut. Refrigerate the serving for four hours. You can garnish the cream pie with cherries and lime.
