Region's Largest Car Show

The Invitational is bringing Tri-Cities Cars and Coffee After Dark to Johnson City, Tennessee, this Saturday, June 4, at 6:00 p.m. This is the car meet that had everyone waiting since last year. Everyone is welcome. It doesn't matter if your vehicle is lowered or lifted. Motorcycles, trucks, and everything in between are welcome. According to their Facebook presence, over 3,300 have expressed an interest in attending this year's show. Nearly a thousand people on social media have already said they are coming!

This year's event will be hosted at the AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram & FIAT dealership at 3700 Bristol Highway, the road known affectionately as "the motor mile." Organizers want the show to be even bigger and better than last year. Even though the venue has changed, they expect everyone to respect the property and crowds - meaning no burnouts, picking up your trash, and acting civil. One or two people acting foolish could ruin the event for everyone.

From the map (above) supplied on the Facebook page, here is the layout as of May 30, 2022:

  • Event Parking will be on the far left (north), just to the left of the spectator entrance.
  • VIP and Vendor Parking will be to the right of the spectator entrance (North entrance).
  • The VIP Entrance will be to the right of the VIP/Vendor lot.
  • Trailer parking will be on the next entrance to the right, to the south of the VIP Entrance.
  • Food Trucks will be parked between the trailer parking area and the VIP/Vendor area.

Vendors and Food Trucks will be coming in and need to be parked by 5:00 p.m., and the VIP Entrance will be closed at 5:30 p.m. VIPs must be pre-approved for a position. There is no approval process for non-VIP admission.

The event is FREE to the public, and they hope everyone will come out and check out the many awesome cars in the area. The car enthusiasts in the region are proud of their machines and like to show them off. It's very impressive how much TLC and time go into these vehicles.

Lots of classics will be on display for your viewing pleasure. You'll see a Porsche 911 GT3, Hennessy Built Ford GT1000, Ferraris, electric vehicles, Ford Mustangs, Shelby GT100, Camaros, Chevelles, and much more.

The event is hosted by A.J. Towsley, Chase Castle, Evan Sewell, Brandon BeePee Price, Mac Reynolds, Erik Larkin, Brandon De La Vega, Michael Ward, Bret Whitson, and Daniel Turner.
