Tiebreakers grand opening Saturday May 7
Tiebreakers to open in Johnson City, Tennessee on May 7, 2022. As a growing epicenter of the Tri-Cities, Tiebreakers will be opening its first store in the area at 1805 North Roan Street at the former home of the Electric Cowboy in the plaza between the AMC 14 Theaters and the Garden Plaza Hotel.
The 30,000 square foot facility will make good use of the space, with over 85 games and food you would expect at any sports bar. The main draw for the venue will be the variety of games available. You’ll have access to arcade games, bowling, video games, and virtual reality (VR) experiences.
Cards
Patrons will be able to purchase “game cards” that will store their winnings, like those found at modern casinos. Cards will be purchased at one of the kiosks and load it with the funds they allocate to play games. You can play games on your own, or with a friend.
Food
The food menu is typical for sports bars. Here you’ll have a full menu of pizza, burgers, wings, and the like. This could be a great place for a date night for the young at heart, or a way to spend time with friends and family.
You can apply your winning points to prizes, redeemable on site (like the old Gold Mine at the mall, or Chucky Cheese). It’s a great way to help entertain the troops when out and about and wanting something different.
Locations
Tiebreakers is also opening a location in Gatlinburg and has other locations in North Carolina. This could be something akin to Dave & Busters if you’ve visited one of their locations.
