Event location

It's a Happy Birthday celebration at the Wrecking Crew Harley Davidson® at 3518 Bristol Hwy, in Johnson City, this Saturday, April 23 on the "motor mile."

Birthday Celebration

Wrecking Crew's first birthday is being celebrated on April 23 from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. at their location in Johnson City. The shop will be in full celebration mode with All Out Dyno Drags there. They invite everyone down to come and race a 1/4 mile and see what your fastest time is. You can race your friends, strangers, and use any make and model motorcycle - they are all welcome.

Their website announcing the event includes music, Fork in the Road food Truck, Shane's Place food truck, tattoo artists on site, barbers doing haircuts, vendors with giveaways, and lots more throughout the event.

They are also expecting a Special Appearance by Jim Bordwine, of Saltville, Virginia who has appeared on the History Channel's Mountain Men.

The Wrecking Crew has managed to hold several promotional events over the past year with great reception by the public and local motor cycle clubs. Nicole Lewin of Shane's Place, a local food truck vendor serving the business during an event last year, said "they are a really great company and easy to work with. Their customers are friendly and very knowledgeable, not like some of the public stereotype motorcycle riders. They are fun, smart, and most are well off or retired from professional occupations. At least those are the ones we've met so far."

Wrecking Crew Harley Davidson takes its name from the "Wrecking Crew" of Harley' fame. A movie about them is also featured on the company's Facebook page.
