Let us explore.
Mansfield Plumbing, 2023
According to a report from AshlandSource.com, Mansfield Plumbing Products is permanently closing its Perrysville plant by year's end. The Perrysville location is the corporation’s U.S. headquarters.
The company warehouse in Ashland, and another location in Henderson, Texas, are reportedly maintaining operations.
As excerpted from the report: Mansfield Plumbing Products is the fourth-largest employer in Ashland County, according to Grow Ashland, the city’s economic development office. The closure will affect 277 employees in the area. It was founded in 1929. The company was purchased by Corona, the world’s largest china manufacturer, in 2004.
The report went on to reference a company press release sent Sepember 26th to the media: The Tuesday press release also stated that a transition package will be offered to employees. Those packages include severance pay and health insurance coverage, and will be doled out according to time spent at the company and seniority. Employees will also be offered “outplacement assistance,” the press release stated, receiving help with their job searches.
