Introduction
According to ScrapeHero.com: There are 325 HEB stores in the United States as of May 16, 2023. The state with the most number of HEB locations in the US is Texas, with 325 stores, which is about 100% of all HEB stores in the US.
A new Georgetown location is set to open June 7th. This location, however, will be different than most.
Let us explore.
H-E-B, 2023
Newsroom.HEB.com lists the following upcoming Texas locations for 2023: McKinney (opening “later this year”), Allen (opening this summer), and Alliance (opening this spring).
A report published by DallasNews.com, “H-E-B to Start Building Its Second Frisco Store as Soon as June,” details a fourth upcoming location, and NBCDFW.com reports on yet another new site, this one having broken ground on February 3 and also planning to open next year, in its story titled “H-E-B to Break Ground on Mansfield Store Friday Morning.”
The latter store is a deluxe entity.
The sixth upcoming location, in Georgetown, is also deluxe. Per a CBSAustin.com report, entitled “Georgetown H-E-B With Two-Story BBQ Restaurant to Open in June,” this entity has been long-awaited.
As excerpted from the report: Early June marks the grand opening of Georgetown's 121,000-square-foot H-E-B store in Wolf Lakes Village, replacing the smaller I-35 location. Boasting a European village design, the store features pedestrian-friendly surroundings and a two-story True Texas BBQ restaurant that will have indoor seating on both levels. The store at 1010 W University Ave. will be open daily starting Wednesday, June 7, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Conclusion
This expansion of H-E-B is a developing story. In the event of pertinent updates to this matter, I will share them here on NewsBreak.
