It should be noted that considerably more than these four U.S. locations are coming soon to the U.S. However, the company holds to a long-term policy that no new stores will be officially announced until they are within three months of opening.
Per a report from The-Sun.com, entitled “TACK ON: Customers Will See Five Costco Changes Next Time They Shop – And One Will impact Your Wallet,” additional openings will come over time, including announced plans to open 24 new stores throughout the current fiscal year. Of those, 15 were said to be opening in the U.S.
It should be noted several of those announced stores have already opened.
