Introduction

I write extensively about the In-N-Out Burger chain for NewsBreak. In that spirit, now comes word that the company is set to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

Firstly, for perspective per ScrapeHero.com: There are 390 In-N-Out Burger restaurants in the United States as of May 08, 2023. The state with the most number of In-N-Out Burger locations in the U.S. is California, with 269 restaurants, which is about 69% of all In-N-Out Burger restaurants in the U.S.

Let us explore further.

In-N-Out Burger 75th Anniversary Festival, 2023

According to a report from CBSNews.com, entitled “In-N-Out to Celebrate 75th Anniversary With Drag Race, ZZ Top Performance,” the festivities will commence October 22nd.

As excerpted from the report: The festival begins this fall on Oct. 22 at the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. It will feature a full day of events ranging from drag racing, a car show and just an overall fair atmosphere with live music throughout the day.

There is a fee for festival admittance, and the concert portion is an extra charge that will go to charity. Vehicle entry for car racing is $100-$150.

The report goes on to state: Tickets for the festival are $25 for adults and $15 for kids between 3-12 years old. Children under 2 years old can get in for free. The benefit concert will be an extra cost of $75. The gates open at 10 a.m. and the drag racing starts at about noon. The benefit concert will start later in the day at 6 p.m. The bands ZZ Top, 311 and .48 special will play until 10 p.m. Proceeds will go to the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation.

The festival is on the grounds at the Fairplex in Pomona. For tickets, click here.
