The Business Insider website made a list of the top 50 places to live in the United States. Here's what the two in Colorado were.
2. Boulder, CO. It was ranked number 4 on the list.
The Business Insider website says, "There's never a shortage of outdoor fun to be had in Boulder, with more than 60 parks and 155 miles of hiking trails at residents' disposal. Downtown, locals enjoy the prominent arts scene, craft breweries, and farmer's markets. Major employers in Boulder include companies in the technology, aerospace, and bioscience industries."
"Boulder is a perfect balance of urban and outdoors. Known for its stellar food scene, breweries, an always-exciting downtown, and more outdoor activities than you can count, the city is just 30 minutes northwest of Denver, where the Rocky Mountains meet the plains," the town's website says.
1. Colorado Springs, CO. It was ranked number 2 on the list.
"Colorado Springs is "booming, with new residences popping up alongside quality schools, parks, and cultural attractions," touts a local expert. The city is just an hour's drive from Denver and in close proximity to Aspen and Vail's world-class ski resorts. Military jobs influence Colorado Springs' culture and economy, but jobs are also available in medical innovation and tech," the Business Insider website says.
The town's website says, "Create lasting memories in beautiful Colorado Springs. The Pikes Peak Region offers more than 55 area attractions, including trains, museums, parks, a zoo, and more. You’ll find no shortage of things to do in our region, where the adventures range from mild to wild!"
