San Francisco police offer $100,000 reward in playground murders

San Francisco police announced in a March 28, 2023, statement that they are offering a $100,000 reward for information in the homicides of Kieran Carlson and Brandon Alexander Cheese.

On Sunday, April 3, 2022, at approximately 4:39 p.m. police officers from Ingleside Station “responded to a playground located on the 600 block of Brunswick Ave. regarding a shooting,” a press release from San Francisco police said.

“Officers arrived on scene and located four adult male victims with gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene who transported the victims to the hospital,” they wrote in the news release.

“Two victims suffered life threatening injuries and two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of the emergency responders and the medical staff the two victims with the life-threatening injuries succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased in the hospital,” according to San Francisco police.

San Francisco Police noted that “this investigation is being led by the SFPD Homicide Detail. The San Francisco Police Department is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Kieran Carlson and Brandon Alexander Cheese.”

San Francisco police noted: “Anyone with information regarding this case may contact SFPD Homicide Detail at 415-553-1145or after hours at the Department Operations Center at 415-553-1071, or the SFPD 24 Hour Tip Line at 1-415-575- 4444.
