There's nothing quite as relaxing as a nice winery. And the good news is there are several wineries located in Cuyahoga Falls.
Cellar 59 Wine Bar & Wine Shop
Cellar 59 Wine Bar & Wine Shop was established in 2013. It offers unique wines at retail prices. Guests can stay and enjoy a glass in a very comfortable atmosphere or take a bottle home to have with friends and family. Cellar 59 also offers craft beer, select spirits, and an excellent menu including pizzas, crab cakes, charcuterie & cheese boards, etc. This winery is conveniently located right on 59. If you haven't been here, you're missing out on something really fun.
By far the best wine bar, both in the food they serve and wine selection. It is located on Kent Rd in Stow, in a renovated home with a huge wrap around porch that is ideal place to sip wine in warmer weather. While they don't have a huge menu, everything we have had here has been spot on. They have a nice selection of wine to drink there and take to go. Tonia C.
The Wine Mill
The Wine Mill was established in 2014. It is a great place to have a drink, share some food, and enjoy yourself. You can also rent the space for weddings and private events. I have to admit, I'm quite a fan of the food here. It is a bit pricer than the other options on this list, but there's something fun about menu items like mason jar salads. That's right, you get your salad inside of a vintage mason jar. You can't go wrong with the pear and pecan salad includes fresh bosc Pears, blue cheese, and roasted pecans. The chicken salad flatbread is another great choice as it has artisan greens, crumbled goat cheese, and balsamic glaze. Lastly, I've got to mention the dessert. It's a no brainer: get the s'more skillet. The S'more Skillet is perfect for sharing. Of course it includes chocolate, marshmallows, graham crackers, and strawberries.
Such a cute place! Go to enjoy wine or sangria, in a real cute area, both inside and outside.
Reservations are needed, especially for inside. I strongly recommend the peach sangria, we all fell for it. So refreshing and with a mix of fruits . Perfect drink for the summer. The pitchers are going for $35, good to share. Amelie D.
Vinefera Wine-to-Whiskey Bar
We're small business entrepreneurs with the desire to give you a cozy and swanky social atmosphere, extensive wine and whiskey collection and a signature menu which pairs nicely with the beverage line-up. There are a surprising amount of foods available at Vinefera, including: dips, salads, crostini boards, cheeses and desserts. I want to talk about the desserts for a moment because I don't want you to miss this. There is a Chocolate Bomb which is coffee-infused bittersweet chocolate mousse on a shortbread cookie covered in ganache. Another great option is the gourmet ice cream trio made up of these flavors: cinnamon brown sugar, vanilla bean, and salted caramel.
Stopped in on a whim and wanting something different to do. It was a Friday night around 6pm. The bartender (Andrew), was engaging, knowledgeable, and professional. He gave us a few suggestions and we went to the menu. Nice selection of wines and whiskey.
So there you have it. Have you ever tried visiting any of these wineries? If not, what is one of your favorite wineries in the area? Feel free to share in the comments!
