In addition, a job fair will also be held on Saturday, April 17 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. In-person interviews will be held on site, so applicants are asked to bring a copy of their resume. Both facial coverings and social distancing are required at the job fair at the zoo. Why The Hiring Surge Is Needed Now

Over the last year, the Cleveland Metroparks seasonal hiring program was severely hampered by COVID-19. Many of the park system's most-popular amenities, such as the zoo, were briefly shut down due to health orders. In addition, many positions were never filled during 2020. Now as the COVID-19 vaccinations are being adopted across the state, Cleveland Metroparks is hiring for what is expected to be a busy 2021 season. In fact, today President Biden announced a deadline of April 19th for all adults to be eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine. As more adults get the vaccine, more businesses will open up and the sooner we can all get back to normal.
