HOUSTON, TX — Attorney David Baluk from the Houston personal injury law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner is on his fourth consecutive year to be included on Texas Rising Stars.
The annual list is published in the Super Lawyers and Texas Monthly magazines. The selection for the lawyer names is based on nominations, peer evaluation by practice area and independent research by Super Lawyers.
Attorneys who are eligible to enter the list are those who are under the age of 40 or have been practicing for ten years or less. There were only less than 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys that made it into the Rising Stars list, which makes David one of the few top young lawyers in Texas.
David has been practicing in personal injury matters, including catastrophic injuries, workplace injuries, wrongful death, product liability, premises liability, 18-wheeler, commercial vehicle and automobile accidents through his time serving at Abraham Watkins firm. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
He is a magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University in Economics and was admitted to Omicron Delta Opsilon, which is an International Economics Honor Society. He then pursued a degree at the University of Houston Law Center where he served on the board of the Houston Journal International Law and was honored as the Editor of the Year. He then had his first work on personal injury work when he was a law clerk at Abraham Watkins.
