Vegas Eater reported a new win for plant-based food lovers in Las Vegas. The restaurant is called Plant Power Fast Food. They're a California-based company, and they're announcing their first location in another state. Las Vegans get a small victory with not one, but two plant-based Plant Power Fast Food chains coming to the city.

Unofficially pitched as “a vegan version of McDonald’s,” even serving a “Big Zac” burger on its 100 percent plant-based menu, the Plant Power Fast Food chain’s first move outside of California now has confirmed Las Vegas locations.

Working under the corporate motto of “changing the world, one burger at a time,” the counter-service Plant Power Fast Food concept launched in 2016 and operates eight Southern California outposts, with big plans for national growth.

First to arrive in Las Vegas will be an under-construction drive-thru, close to the intersection of Craig Road and the 95, and across the parking lot from Kneaders Bakery & Cafe. Plant Power, which will share the 4,039-square-foot purpose-built structure with Bonanno’s NY Pizzeria, is currently hiring, but an estimated debut date has not been announced.

Later in the year, the brand will move into a 3,000-square-foot restaurant in Enterprise, close to the corner of Rainbow Boulevard and Richmar Avenue. Also equipped with a drive-thru, the building will be shared with a 4,154-square-foot expansion for breakfast and brunch specialists The Broken Yolk Café.

On the Plant Power menu, a vegan mimic of a familiar burger chain, serving a full range of burgers, buffalo wings, “chicken” tenders,” fries, salads, wraps, shakes, kombucha floats, breakfast dishes, and desserts.
