DAVIDSON, NC – The growing number of stray cats on the West side of Davidson has called Cats of Davidson to rescue and provide safe and loving homes for the cats. There are at least 15 cats that are currently available for adoption and most of them are kittens.

Cats of Davidson accommodates stray cats who need homes and those who are looking for a pet buddy. Rather than purchasing a pet from stores, they encourage people to give homes for stray cats from the animal shelters instead.

Apart from giving homes for the cats, adoption can save so many lives of stray cats too. By adopting cats, you are contributing to lessen the burden of the overpopulated animal shelters. These shelters often deal with challenges in maintaining the life quality of the animals and taking care of the growing number of animals.

For rescue and adoption, Cats of Davidson covers many areas that include Mecklenburg, Iredell, Catawba, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Mooresville, and Concord. Adoption can be made by contacting Cats of Davidson via email at catsofdavidson@gmail.com.

If you are interested in adopting, you will need to undergo six adoption processes before bringing the pet home: Interview, Application Submission, Application Approval, Meet the Pet, Adoption Contract Signing, and Adoption Fee Payment.

Cats of Davidson is currently working with 12 volunteers. They have a Trap, Neuter, Release program to rescue and find forever homes for hundreds of kittens. As a non-profit, Cats of Davidson is also accepting donations for stray and homeless cats to find homes. Donations can be made at this website.
