STATESVILLE, NC – The annual Carolina BallonFest is coming on the third weekend in October. Visitors can enjoy various activities related to hot air balloons such as booking a balloon ride, watching the balloon glow before it takes off, or enjoying the Statesville sky that is full of hot air balloons.

The festival will be hosted by National Balloon Rally Charities, Inc., a non-profit organization that will donate some of the festival’s proceeds to local community organizations. Carolina BalloonFest will take place near the Statesville Regional Airport at 260 Hangar Drive, Statesville, on October 15-17, 2021. However, visitors should park their vehicles at the Troutman Park & Ride and use shuttles to go to the festival location.

Tickets start from $10 and differ on each day. Children aged 12 years old and under will be exempted from the admission fee. If you want to book your ticket and parking pass, you can go to this link.

Carolina BalloonFest will feature many activities and entertainment such as a hot air balloon competition, artisan village, kids zone, wine and craft beer tasting, and some stage performances. If you want to see the balloon flights, make sure to go to the festival in the morning or late afternoon as the flights will only take place at those times.

If you want a unique experience of riding the balloon and see the view from the Statesville sky, you can also book a hot air balloon ride. The ride costs $250 per person that includes an hour to an hour and a half of ride with the balloon pilot. You can book a ride by directly contacting the pilot at this website.
