Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue as lineup on upcoming event of Spotlight Series

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Queens University of Charlotte will be having 'Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue' as lineup for the upcoming Spotlight Series performances.

In this performance, Trombone Shorty will present a groovy performance along with Orleans Avenue. Trombone Shorty is the stage name of Troy Andrews who is well known and has many achievements in the music world. In addition to having opened in the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lenny Kravitz and the Foo Fighters tours, Trombone Shorty has also appeared at the Grammys Award and the White House multiple times. Trombone Shorty also recently released his latest record named 'Parking lot Symphony' under Blue Note Records.

Not only in the music world but his achievements in the entertainment world have also been recognized by many people. Trombone Shorty has been a voice actor and has even released two children's books that earn high praise from the community.

Previously, Arts at Queens had invited several world-class performers and artists in the Spotlight Series, which was held to share and inspire students and all parts of the community to create. Another lineup that will also fill the Spotlight Series is Chris Thile, The Knights with Aaron Diehl, and Elizabeth Strout.
