A Chicago White Sox game turned chaotic when a group of fans engaged in a massive scrp in the bleachers. The incident was caught on video and happened away from the mound, and a toddler nearby was seen crying as the tussle broke out.
According to reports by witnesses, the conflict began between two female spectators before more individuals joined in. The entire thing lasted for about two minutes and involved both men and women, who were seen launching haymakers.
Ironically, the song ‘Knuck If You Buck’ by Crime Mob was playing in the background as the action unfolded in the stands. The lyrics of the 2004 platinum hit include phrases such as “punch ’em dead in his nose and stomp his a** down to the flo,” which seemed to add fuel to the brawl. Many uninvolved fans sang along, considering the song to be an anthem.
During the action, an exuberant woman in cargo pants stood on a chair, taunting another patron before being hit with a bottle on her temple, which brought her down to the ground.
It remains unclear what penalties and injuries were incurred by those involved in the incident. However, it is evident that the incident caused a commotion among the spectators, with some enjoying the spectacle while others looked on with disdain.
While the incident was taking place, the White Sox prevailed on the diamond, beating Baltimore 7-6 in 10 innings. The game’s outcome sent most of the fans inside Guaranteed Rate Field home happy.
