How It Works

The Memphis Hop is a fleet of buses that travel through 10 different stops every hour and 20 minutes. They offer pick-up services from most downtown hotels by reservation, or if you prefer, you can hop on at any of the venues they tour with. Tour destinations include the following Memphis favorites:

  • STAX Museum of American Soul Music
  • St. Blues Guitar Workshop/Sun Studio
  • Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum
  • AutoZone Park/The Peabody Memphis

  • I-40 Welcome Center
  • Blues Hall of Fame
  • St. Jude Children Hospital
  • BB King's Restaurant and Beale Street
  • Bass Pro Shops (formerly known as The Pyramid)
  • Hard Rock Cafe

Downtown hotels that participate in the Memphis Hop tour program currently include

  • The Peabody Memphis
  • The Westin Memphis – Beale Street
  • Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis – Beale Street
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Memphis
  • Holiday Inn Select – Beale Street

Where to Buy Tickets

Perhaps the easiest way to purchase tickets to ride is through the Memphis Hop website directly. However, if you're already on foot, you can get them in person at their brick-and-mortar location, 664 Marshall Ave, or the Ticket Booth next to Hard Rock Cafe (2nd & Beale Street). Tickets are valid for 24 hours after purchase.

Adult tickets (13 and up) are $30, and youth tickets (12 and under) are $20. Your ticket allows you a pass to ride all day to as many destinations as you'd like. According to their ticket purchasing policy, "Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price." There is also a small service fee per ticket when using the online platform.
