Take a day trip from Chicago to visit a Jurassic Park-themed corn maze this fall.
(CHICAGO) Richardson Adventure Farm in Spring Grove, Illinois, is known for its pumpkin patch, Christmas tree farm, and stunning field of tulips. It's also known for its colossal corn maze, which opens every fall.
With 28 acres and 10 miles of paths, Richardson Farm is home to the world's largest corn maze.
The farm just announced its opening date and theme for this year's maze on social media, and it's sure to be an epic adventure.
"This year, we're turning back time as we pay tribute to the legendary movie Jurassic Park, which hit screens 30 years ago. Get ready to tread amidst towering corn walls, reliving the thrill of the past while making unforgettable memories."
What to expect?
The Jurassic Park-themed maze will feature a T-Rex, a jeep, a waterfall, and a brachiosaurus.
Aside from the popular maze, the farm offers other fall attractions such as a 13-acre sunflower maze, pick-your-own pumpkins, a 50-foot observation tower, a train ride, giant slides, pedal karts, zorbing, a zip line, and a petting zoo.
