The Chicago-based meal kit service is now offering meals made for families.
(CHICAGO) It's a challenge to come up with healthy dinner ideas every single day for a busy family. It's even more of a challenge to go to the store, buy the ingredients, prepare them, and clean it all up.
The alternative is eating out, which gets expensive fast and isn't very healthy.
Meal kit boxes of recipes and their ingredients could be the solution. It saves the effort of brainstorming a meal plan, and you don't have to go to the store to hunt down ingredients.
The ready-to-cook meals are delivered to your door with a set of instructions on how to prepare.
Home Chef Expanding to Offer Family Meal Kits
The Chicago-based meal kit company, Home Chef, has announced the launch of its Family Menu, "a one-of-a-kind meal kit plan designed specifically for families."
"We heard from parents who were craving even more ease at mealtime, so our Family Menu is a direct response to that home cook feedback," Shira Schwarz, vice president of brand marketing for Home Chef said in a press release. "As a mom of three, I know how challenging it can be to deliver a quick, quality dinner that doesn't call for short-order cooking, and Home Chef's Family Menu provides meals that both kids and adults will love."
What's on the Family Meal Plan?
The menu offers over ten weekly rotating recipes. Some of the choices include:
- Tex-Mex Style Guacamole Beef Burgers
- Pulled Pork Enchiladas
- One-Pan BBQ Al Pastor Chicken Tacos
- One-Pan Chicken Cutlets and Orzo
- Lasagna-Style Bolognese Gemelli
How does it work?
First, you take a quiz to help Home Chef find out your needs. You choose your meals and extras each week, and your kits will be delivered directly to your home.
