It will be only the third Ramsay's Kitchen in the U.S., with the two other locations in Las Vegas and Boston.
(CHICAGO) If you're yearning to try celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's world-famous British specialties such as beef Wellington or sticky toffee pudding, you're in luck. Ramsay is bringing his Ramsay's Kitchen restaurant to the western Chicago suburb of Naperville this spring.
Although Ramsay has twelve restaurants throughout the U.S. including Gordon Ramsay Burger in Chicago, this will be only one of three of Ramsay's Kitchen. The other two are located in Las Vegas and Boston.
Congressman Bill Foster of the 11th district of Illinois took to Twitter to announce the new restaurant last week saying, "Big news! Naperville will be home to @GordonRamsay’s newest restaurant. I’m glad Chef Ramsay sees what a dynamic, growing community Naperville is. Can’t wait to try the beef wellington!"
What are the details?
We know the new restaurant will open this spring, although an exact date has yet to be announced. Ramsay's Kitchen will be taking over the former Ted's Montana Grill space in downtown Naperville at 39 W. Jefferson.
Ramsay's website listed a job posting for General Manager for the new location, although as of today, the opening is showing as expired.
What to expect from Ramsay's Kitchen
While Gordon Ramsay Burgers offers gourmet burgers with plenty of sides such as fries, onion rings, and street corn dip, the Ramsay Kitchen restaurants bring more of an upscale experience specializing in gourmet global cuisine.
Menu items from the Las Vegas and Boston locations include a raw seafood bar, pan-seared scallops, and butternut squash risotto. In addition, Ramsay's iconic beef wellington and sticky toffee pudding can be found on the menu.

About Gordon Ramsay
Ramsay is a British celebrity chef known for hosting popular cooking shows such as "Hell's Kitchen." He has one burger joint located in Chicago's River North, and it was reported last year by Secret Chicago that he would be opening a Hell's Kitchen at 508 N. State Street.
However, it appears that deal fell through. The restaurant never opened, and current records show the building is currently available for lease.
