If you're in the Greater Houston area or looking to visit this weekend, here are some fun things to do with your entire family. It's Easter weekend. For our family we did something different almost every year but these things stayed the same:

  • Church service
  • Easter egg hunting
  • Photos with the Easter bunny

There's plenty to do in our list but you'll find this theme throughout. The whole city is celebrating Easter and there are dozens of Easter events happening. It'll definitely be a fun time with your family.

There's certainly no shortage of fun in Houston.

You'll find a plethora of different fun-filled activities to do with the kids that will keep you all occupied and having fun for hours. Here are 6 family-friendly adventures to do this weekend in Houston Texas.

The Galleria Mall and Photos with the Easter Bunny - 5805 Westheimer Rd Houston, Texas

Head to the Galleria and do bunny photos for all your kids.

This really never gets old and it'll be a fun activity that you can capture in a photo and look back on for years to come. This event is going to be socially distanced and families will be able to make reservations for a time slot convenient to them.

The bunny will also be wearing a face mask.

While you're at the Galleria, go and the explore the largest mall in the Greater Houston area. Peruse the food court and have lunch with your family, indulge in ice skating or watch a movie, shop and enjoy hours at the mall.

Wine Fest - Simple Space 5524 Richmond Ave Houston, TX

Wine Fest is happening this weekend and it's on April 3rd. It's called The Galleria Whiskey and Wine Fest.

If you've been wanting to travel then you will definitely want to check out this wine and whiskey tasting. People from across the globe travel to attend this event and it's going to be truly amazing this year. You will enjoy complimentary tastings, light fare, and live entertainment.

Astros Baseball - 501 Crawford St Houston, TX

It's baseball time and the Houston Astros are playing at Minute Maid Park on April 8th. If you're in Houston during that time, you can check it out.

Easter on the Boardwalk - 215 Kipp Avenue Kemah, Texas

This is happening in Kemah, Texas which is outskirting Galveston, around a 90 minute drive from Houston. The Galveston/Kemah area is great because it’s right on the Gulf of Mexico. That means you’ll have access to the beach, fun coastal activities, fresh seafood and coastal cuisine and a ton of fun Spring events in the area.

Czech Center Museum Houston - 4920 San Jacinto St Houston, TX

An Easter egg hunt will be hosted in their exhibit room while parents and kids can tour the museum, enjoy a beer and linger around the museum. This happens on Saturday April 3, 2:00 to 2:30pm.

Family Easter Egg Hunt in River Oaks - 3471 Westheimer Rd Houston, TX

The Story Church will be at the River Oaks campus hosting Easter egg hunting on the lawn. It happens on April 3rd at 10am.

It’s Easter weekend! There are ton of activities happening across town. If you’re looking for something to do with the family, there will be no shortage of fun here. Many Easter egg hunts happening and photos with the Easter bunny, plus Easter service and a lot more.
