NEW ORLEANS, LA - Maple Leaf Bar New Orleans in collaboration with Castellon Pharmacy will hold a Free COVID-19 Vaccination Day on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The organizers provide two vaccine options, which include Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer, for those who haven't had access to vaccines.

During the event, Maple Leaf Bar remains open and will entertain visitors with live music and fun entertainment.

Previously, on July 28, 2021, Maple Leaf Bar, Tipitina's, and d.b.a announced to the public that effective from Friday, July 30, all visitors are required to show proof of vaccine or COVID-19 negative test that has been done during the last 72 hours before entering the three bars. This has been implemented since COVID-19 cases in New Orleans and surrounding areas have increased rapidly, mainly due to the new delta variant.

It is hoped that with this Free Vaccination Day, all elements of society have an awareness to protect themselves and those closest to them from the threat of the COVID-19 virus that has shaken the world over the last two years.

The State Government of Louisiana and the City of New Orleans have also made various efforts to campaign the importance of vaccines through the #SleeveUpNOLA program and all citizens of the city can now easily access vaccinations in various places in every corner of the city.

For those of you who are interested in participating in vaccination activities at Maple Leaf Bar, please attend and invite friends, family, and relatives to protect themselves from the threat of COVID-19.
