Driving Through Fort McHenry Tunnel: One of the Largest Underwater Highway Tunnels
In this video, JamesandKarla showcase the drive through the Fort McHenry Tunnel, which when it opened in 1985 was the largest underwater highway tunnel, as well as the widest vehicular tunnel built by the immersed tube method in the world. This eight-lane tunnel in Baltimore is nearly 1.4-miles long and crosses under the Patapsco River, just south of historic Fort McHenry.
