Driving to South of the Border: Largest Roadside Attraction Along I-95
In this video, JamesandKarla drive to South of the Border, South Carolina, to see the largest roadside attraction along Interstate 95 at the North Carolina - South Carolina border. This family-owned motel, restaurants, shops and amusement area has been in business since 1949 and is themed in a faux-Mexican style featuring its mascot, Pedro.
We are architectural/interior photographers & videographers based in NYC. We started our video channel to act an artistic intervention to help raise awareness of the importance of small independently-owned businesses and the unique character these shops add to the streets and neighborhoods of New York City. In our videos we will showcase portraits of storefronts and shop owners in New York City & beyond and capture moments of city life that capture the spirit, energy and cultural diversity of individual neighborhoods. We also bring our rescue dog, Hudson along whenever we can.
