South Beach Miami's Most Photographed Art Deco Hotel

In this video, JamesandKarla and their rescue dog Hudson check out the beautiful facade of the famed Art Deco Colony Hotel located along Ocean Drive in Miami Beach during Art Deco Weekend, an annual winter event celebrating the neighborhood's historic Art Deco architecture. The hotel's plans were completed in 1935 by architect Henry Hohauser, one of the earliest proponents of streamlined architecture on Miami Beach.

We are architectural/interior photographers & videographers based in NYC. We started our video channel to act an artistic intervention to help raise awareness of the importance of small independently-owned businesses and the unique character these shops add to the streets and neighborhoods of New York City. In our videos we will showcase portraits of storefronts and shop owners in New York City & beyond and capture moments of city life that capture the spirit, energy and cultural diversity of individual neighborhoods. We also bring our rescue dog, Hudson along whenever we can.
