Cleveland Metroparks: plan your visit

CLEVELAND, OH — Cleveland Metroparks requests guests to enjoy the weekends at the park safely and plan before they visit.

Guests are encouraged to download the mobile app to plan their visit. Golfers visiting the Cleveland Metropark eight golf courses can now access time bookings via the mobile app.

For guests visiting the beach and swimming area, it is recommended that they swim in designated swim areas during hours where lifeguards are present.

To ensure your and your family's safety when doing water or near-water activities at the park, please visit You can get safety tips, guarded locations and hours, as well as swimming conditions.

Due to the expected high number of visitors, all guests should arrive at Edgewater Park, Whiskey Island, Wendy Park and all other marinas and yacht clubs by early afternoon.

Vehicular access to the park entrance will be closed at 9 p.m.

Boaters should be aware of all locations with public boat launch access. They are at the Emerald Necklace Marina in Rocky River Reservation, Gordon Park Boat Launch in Lakefront Reservation, Wildwood Park in Euclid Creek Reservation, and the Edgewater Park Boat Launch in Lakefront Reservation.

Cleveland Metroparks Police requests that you not park in undesignated areas, picnic areas, or in the median or grassy areas to further ensure safety.

Cleveland Metroparks Police will be present on food, bikes, patrol cruisers, and horseback to assist in parking and safety. In case of emergency, notify the Cleveland Metropark police by calling 440-333-4911 or 911.
