Greater Cleveland Sports Commission to host fifth Summer Golf Classic

CLEVELAND – Greater Cleveland Sports Commission plans to hold its Summer Golf Classic in the near future. The organization will be collaborating with its key partners to ensure the event's success.

David Gilbert, President and CEO of Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, said that the Summer Golf Classic fundraiser was something that golfers had been waiting to attend year over year. "Our Summer Golf Classic fundraiser on this beautiful course is something golfers really look forward to attending year over year."

There will be 18-holes featured in the best format ball while keeping a safe distance in the course. During tournament awards, every participant will get lunch, beverages, a golf-themed gift, and dinner. All golfers will also enter the contest automatically, including closest to the pin, longest drive, a putting competition, and two mulligans per person. Other activities such as skins and a reverse raffle are available for purchase.

The price for foursomes and individuals ranges from $660 per group to $165 per golfer. Pre-registration is required.

More information about the format and tee times is pending due to health and safety guidelines. Social distancing will be encouraged for those in attendance.
