Cleveland Police plan hiring events throughout May

The City of Cleveland Division of Police are looking for new hires. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications at a hiring event, which will be held throughout May in the city.

This hiring event will include an informative discussion where recruiters will talk about the hiring process, the Personal History Statement (PHS), key factors for success, and tailored answers to questions pertaining to the physical agility test.

- Friday, May 21 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Cleveland Police 2nd District, 3481 Fulton Rd

- Saturday, May 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cleveland Police 3rd District, 4501 Chester Ave

- Sunday, May 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cleveland Police 1st District, 3895 West 130th St

- Friday, May 28 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Cleveland Police 4th District, 9333 Kinsman Rd

- Saturday, May 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cleveland Police 5th District, 881 East 152nd St

Candidates who pass the recruitment process will receive a salary based on their post, ranging from $15.00 per hour for the Police Training Academy students to $53,779.43 per year after graduating from the academy.

3. Proof of residency for applicants seeking residency credit for the examination; and

4. DD Form 214 or concrete evidence to prove veteran’s status.
