Iconic newscaster, Pam Moore has announced that she will be retiring from her full-time job at the KRON 4 television news desk after 32 years. Her last day will be June 29th. She also stated that she will stay on as an occasional fill-in as well as a special story reporter.

Pam is a native of Detroit Michigan and got her degree at the University of Michigan. She began her career at KRON 4 in 1991 after working in Boston.

Many in the bay area used to enjoy her banter with a friend and former colleagues Gary Radnich and Wendy Tokuda. Gary always the jokester, would tease Wendy and Pam to no end and they would laugh at his craziness. It lightened the mood sometimes when the news got too intense with so many bad stories.

Even though she has a fun personality, when it comes to business and helping others, Pam has few equals. Her honest laid back and passionate personality fit in well with the Northern California vibes. It’s hard to find a life in the bay area that Pam hasn’t helped or touched or mentored.

Pam’s work with underprivileged kids and adults has been amazing. She’s received so many awards that it’s hard to count. She was inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Silver Circle.

Her awards, public service, and accomplishments are too many to count. She has been inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Silver Circle, honoring her significant contribution to Northern California television. She has been honored and congratulated for her passionate work to help others from local organizations to the NAACP.
