Money is Needed to “Axe” ALS:
ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease and stands for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. It slowly takes away one's ability to walk, speak, write, swallow, or breathe. It progresses differently in each person and there is no cure.
In their fight with ALS, Eric and Amanda realized that money was desperately needed for research and everyday living expenses for so many battling ALS. Many families go bankrupt or just don't get the items they need to help with everyday struggles due to the extreme expenses.
With the support, enthusiasm and passion of so many kind people and organizations, this foundation is sure to make a huge difference and bring hope in the fight against ALS changing many lives along the way.
