The 74th annual Solano County Fair will be held at the Solano County Fairgrounds on June 15-18. Tickets are on sale now with a pre-sale discount. All of the information about the fair can be seen at their official website at

The Solano County Fair will begin on Thursday, June 15 from 4-10 pm. From Thursday through Sunday, the hours will be noon to 10 pm. On Saturday the 17th the fireworks display sponsored by Jelly Belly will start at approximately 9 pm.

The Family Ag Day will be held along with the fair on June 15th. The fair's website states that “to educate our youth, & honor the farmers, ranchers, and agricultural workers who contribute so much to our daily lives. The 2023 Family Ag Day promises to be an unforgettable celebration of agriculture in Solano County.” There will be no charge for families that go to the Family Ag Day area.

Kids especially are the emphasis with many of the handlers that raised these animals have been doing it since they were young. Many are in their teens or young 20s and love to share their experiences.

There are several popular exhibits and competitions as well including fine art, food for both adults and kids, clothing, quilting, and so much more.

There will be over 2 dozen community stage performers including bands of all genres, dancers, and individual performers.

And as always they will have all of the great fair rides that everyone expects along with vendors and fair food that is so popular when people come to the Solano County Fair.
