The San Francisco and Sacramento area has many great activities in the spring and summer months and one of those events is the Napa Valley BottleRock concert series. It has another great lineup in store for concertgoers this year. It will be held from May 26-28. Three day tickets are sold out but one day tickets are available. Even if some tickets are sold out, some services have them on sale, and you will find them on the website.

BottleRock has everything from great food and drinks, a spa area, affordable henna artwork, jewelry and clothing sales, and much more. They also have a fast hydration area for those that get dehydrated.

As BottleRock has evolved, so have transportation and other services. Buses come from all over the bay area so check their website to get tickets. They’ve learned a lot from the first couple of years, and things have improved greatly. Napa isn’t exactly the size of New York so things can get crowded fast and that includes traffic and parking. Their website has all of the important things to know if you are attending.

Things to Know:

Remember that not all of the locals are thrilled that so many people are coming into their town, so respect their driveways, yards, and space. Tow trucks are busy that weekend. Parking is at a minimum and the parking you do find will be expensive. Public transportation is greatly encouraged.

Again, the weather is usually very nice to even hot sometimes at that time of year in Napa, so be prepared. Hats, sun tan lotions, and a jacket handy for the cool down at night are important. And bring money; and lots of it. As with anything to do with entertainment these days it can be very pricey.

Groups that are in this year's concert series include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duran Duran, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Wu-Tang Clan, Post Malone, Smashing Pumpkins, and Sheryl Crow just to name a few.
