Popular San Francisco disc jockey JV of “The JV Show” at Wild 94.9 was last seen on February 23rd at 10 pm in the 200 Block of King St. in San Francisco. He was announced missing by the San Francisco Police Department the next day.
The popular JV is known for his fun-loving personality and positivity. He is much beloved and the news of his disappearance hit the bay area hard. JV still has the highest-rated morning show in the history of San Francisco radio.
He has been very open about his horrible battle with Lyme disease. He wrote a log and did a show speaking about his issues. He spoke about what it did to his brain & thoughts & the extreme pain. JV had to take a leave of absence and 94.9 was extremely supportive.
JV’s wife Natasha Yi, shared on March 1st the chilling statement that things were not good. “JV and I have always considered this community part of our family, so I want to let you know that personal information has recently been discovered that leads us to believe JV will not be coming back. I tell you this with incredible pain and sadness in my heart”. Natasha went on to say that no foul play was involved but that the police has asked her not to release any more information. As of today, nothing more has been released which has lead to much speculation and sadness from his fans.
