HOUSTON, TX - Buffalo Bayou Partnership has prepared fun and healing activities for everyone this September. Mark your calendars and join some of the events below.
1) Mindful Morning

At The Water Works, 105 Sabine Street.
Take a break from your hectic routine in the city and get closer to nature. Inspired by the Forest Bathing movements from South Korea and Japan, this month's theme is Grounding with the Trees. You will be guided to a mindfulness lesson, meditation, and tea made from local trees. Reserve now for only $5 here.
2) History Boat Tour

At Allen’s Landing, 1001 Commerce St.
Sail down the memory lane and discover the stories of the Allen brothers with a local historian. You will also learn more about how Houston is shaped along the bayou.
Book the ticket in advance for $40 here. The boat tours are only for ages 4+ and wearing a mask is required.
3) Turntable Tuesdays

At The Water Works, 105 Sabine Street
This free outdoor event is held every second Tuesday in September, October, and November as a partnership with Time No Longer, the film and sound installation in the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern.
Enjoy the evening with the themed music played by the DJs, Gracie Chavez + Ilya Janos of Bombón, The ARE, and Josh Zulu while sipping samples from The Long Drink Company. (Only for ages 21 and over). Reserve now in here.

At Buffalo Bend Nature Park, 2300 S/Sgt. Macario Garcia Dr.
This family-friendly event takes you on an adventure of bug's inspired activity, music, and plant giveaways. You can also see an interactive sculpture named the Love Motel for Insects, created by Brandon Ballengée during his residency with the University of Houston Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts.
