When you want a burger, and you want it to be the best. But when looking at the best burger place in Spokane, we need to be thinking about a lot of different aspects of the restaurant. That said, it doesn't need to be overly complicated either. So, I have three main criteria that I'm using to gauge the winners here. First is the Quality of food. Second is the price. Third is the atmosphere.
Here we go.
Ever eaten a burger in a train car before? Well, that's exactly what you'll do at Frank's. So the atmosphere is a serious winner. There are several burgers to choose from, including: the Great Northern Burger, a Bacon Cheddar Burger, Bison burger, Patty Melt and more. Which one is best? I think the patty melt is the winner, featuring 1/2 lb of lean beef on melted swiss with an onion and rye bread. All burgers at Frank's Diner come with a side of fries, potato salad, fresh fruit or coleslaw. The quality of food is very high too. The only reason this one isn't the hands down winner is the price. The patty melt is a bit pricey at 15.50. But that being said, it really is worth it.
The restaurant is a converted train car and is super cool on the inside. Booths and bar seating. I chose bar seating so I could watch the cooks. I got the seafood omelette which was delicious. The creole hollandaise was thinner than normal which was good as it added the perfect seasoning and creaminess to the omelette. Homemade jam for your toast. Bacon was perfect blend of chewy and crispy. Friendly staff. Overall amazing dining experience. Kpbooth
The burgers here have ground beef is locally sourced, mixed with umami seasoning and grilled to order. Plus, they have a $3.99 on everything Happy Hour! As far as burgers go, order The Twins. The twins features two bacon cheese burgers in between one bun with lettuce, onion, ketchup, grain mustard & house pickles. This meal is absolutely amazing.
If you are looking for a very tasty burger this is THE place. You will be very satisfied with their food and won't be disappointed. You'll know you had a burger :) Survivormom4
Okay, here is the winner. The environment is really cool and modern. The price is good. And the food...well...it's incredible! Order the Al Capone with coffee-infused beef, served on an Alpine Bakery brioche bun, topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, candied bacon, Tillamook cheddar cheese, “dirty” ketchup and a fried egg.
The food is super fresh and delicious! The Chef JD has made some extraordinary flavor combinations. Date night, lunch, or happy hour satisfaction! I totally recommend this restaurant. *steak bites (do it) Housemade fries! Spicy Ketchup. O geez! Libertini13
