For the best in breakfast, brunch, or lunch along scenic downtown Ellicottville, New York, everybody knows to go to Katy’s Café. With a solid menu of sandwiches, wraps, and all the breakfast staples, nothing beats their cuisine on a cool fall morning.
The breakfast burritos at Katy’s are some of the best out there, especially the Katy's original Breakfast Burrito, featuring two fried eggs, home fries, ham, choice of bacon or sausage, sauteed onions, tomato, pepper jack cheese, and banana peppers all wrapped up snugly in a cheddar jalapeno wrap. The melody of flavors is truly divine.
For a zestier burrito for the earlier bird, the 7 a.m. Breakfast Wrap is phenomenal too, featuring two fried eggs, sliced applewood ham, tomato, banana peppers, and goat cheese in a grilled garlic herb wrap. For fans of heat, the Angry Burrito has you covered with two fried eggs, home fries, sausage, onions, tomato, smoked jalapeno relish, cheddar, and chipotle aioli all combined in a grilled cheddar jalapeno wrap for the spiciest of finishes.
“Katy’s has the best breakfast burritos anywhere in the area,” said diner and local West Valley resident Peter Verne. “Nowhere else even comes close to their quality. They are the perfect size, they have so many different varieties to choose from, and the staff is always super friendly.”
For panini-lovers, the lunch menu is full of all the classics, as well as their deluxe menu with delicacies like the the Tannenbomb, featuring grilled chicken, bacon, sautéed onions, gorgonzola, and roasted garlic aioli freshly grilled up on Italian panini bread. Another local favorite to try for certain is the Mr. Man panini, which comes with sliced roast beef, gorgonzola, bacon, sauteed onions, and horseradish sauce for a flavor-filled finish, also on grilled Italian panini bread.
