Nothing beats the crispy golden crunch of perfectly fried chicken. For the best in American classics and some of the straight up best fried chicken out there, everybody needs to check out Myra Jean’s Restaurant in Crawfordville, Florida.

A must-try for any fried chicken fanatic is the boom boom chicken sandwich, featuring freshly fried chicken tenders, a spicy boom boom sauce, mayonnaise, romaine lettuce, and tomatoes on a grilled sub roll for a spicy punch of flavor. For a more savory chicken experience, the chicken Philly sub sandwich comes with a grilled chicken breast, onions, bell peppers, and melted Swiss American cheese.

Myra Jean’s does some phenomenal wraps too, like their Buffalo spinach wrap with chopped buffalo sauce-dipped chicken tenders, fresh shredded lettuce, and tomatoes in a green spinach wrap. Another local favorite is the Asian chicken wrap featuring romaine lettuce, a pinch of purple cabbage, carrots, chow mein noodles, and chicken tenders gently tossed in a sweet mandarin ginger sauce, all served up in a warm white wrap.

Any of the burgers on the menu are sure to satisfy too, like the mouth-watering bleu ring waff burger featuring Swiss American and one large onion ring filled to the brim with melted bleu cheese crumbles. Another crowd-favorite is the garlic onion paradise burger with Swiss American cheese, grilled onions, and garlic for a zesty finish.

Make sure to try and save some room for dessert too because Myra Jean’s has some beautifully crafted sundaes, like the Turtles sundae with caramel, hot fudge, whipped cream, peanuts, and the iconic cherry on top, or the Peanut Butter Supreme with hot fudge, peanut butter, whipped cream, and a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup on top.
