For a summer evening on the town, liquor may be quicker, but wine is always divine. One of Buffalo, New York’s hottest wine bars, Just Vino, is open for summer and has several amazing events lined up to enjoy alongside their ever-rotating selection of wine and food.

“Just Vino is by and large my favorite wine bar in all of Western New York,” said Just Vino regular Don Palumbo. “They always have the best selection of wines and I love the tapas style menu. Tapas and sharing with friends just makes the whole dining experience more fun.”

For those unfamiliar, tapas refers to a collection of smaller portioned dishes that are more scattered about, and meant to be eaten at a leisurely pace. For fans of charcuterie, the concept is quite similar. Just Vino’s tapas offerings are always superbly crafted, varied, and downright pretty to look at.

“You walk in and the ambience is just relaxed and welcoming,” Palumbo went on to say. “The décor really stands out, especially the pieces on local wine history. The one map shows all the old school vineyards in the Niagara wine region. People always seem to forget that Western New York is a unique wine hotspot. I love that they remind us of this rich tapestry we have.”

Just Vino’s next event, “A Special Happy Hour featuring Long Meadow Ranch Wines,” will take place Thursday, June 2 from five-thirty to seven-thirty in the evening. Reservations are forty dollars per person and come with a full buffet of appetizers perfectly paired with four of Long Meadow Ranch’s reserve quality wines.
