As New York state’s commercial cannabis industry continues to grow, many are keen to learn more about the culture through informative local cannabis-centric events. The Nickel City Blitz, also to be known as CannaBlitz, is one such event set to take place on Saturday, December 18 from four to eleven in the evening at Buffalo Iron Works in downtown Buffalo, New York.

Hosted by former Buffalo Bills player Stevie Johnson, CannaBlitz will feature over thirty vendors from the budding Western New York cannabis industry, including The All High Club and Plant-it Express, as well as games, health and fitness stations, and an exclusive interview station.

The event is powered by The All High Club and Johnson’s own company, ClubHBHF. The HBHF stands for “Handle Biz, Have Fun,” the representative slogan of the ClubHBHF brand, recognizing the importance of living a balanced and purposeful lifestyle.

"That 'handle biz, have fun,' it represents accountability, and it represents responsibility," Johnson explained of the motto in a previous interview. "It's just simple. It's a simple, positive message, and it's self-explanatory. So, it's easy to attach to and thrive off. 'Handle biz, have fun.' In that order…Don't get on the phone, don't go play video games, unless you did your work. Then after you do that, have peace of mind. That's peace. You can have as much fun as you want, and then you repeat."

Perhaps most well-known for their skill camps and Exposure Academy (XA), the mission of ClubHBHF is to assist athletes, entertainers, businesses, and entrepreneurs in nurturing and promoting their talents by creating opportunities to showcase their individual skillsets as they grow.

CannaBlitz promises to be an evening showcasing a great deal of talent in not only the best local representatives of cannabis culture and cultivation, but in the live performances lined up for the night as well. In the Christmas spirit, some of the proceeds from the event will go towards JR NorthStar Foster Homes, Community Relations, and towards helping at-risk youth.

General admission to CannaBlitz is twenty dollars at the door or in advance and all attendees must be twenty-one or older. More information about the event and links to tickets can be found on Instagram @thenickelcityblitz.
