Feelin fancy!? You’ve gotta check out Anhelo in dtphx. I’m not exaggerating when I say every single thing (including the bread) was phenomenal.

DRINKS: Order the Clover Club if you love a frothy gin cocktail and the Vieux Carré if you’re more of a stiff whiskey-forward drink lover. I’m both, so I made sure to drink each one — for science. 

FOOD: For apps, the Ricotta Dumplings were so rich and delicious, the kind of food you’ll dream about later! I also suggest ordering the Smoked Beef Tartare - so flavorful, smoky, and paired perfectly with their bread. We had 2 pasta appetizers, because why not!? The Oxtail Agnolotti was delicious and you can tell that they make their noodles in-house.

The main reason we stopped in was to try their Beef Wellington. It was SOSO good. The pastry was crispy and the steak was cooked to perfection. The Scallops and Wagyu NY Strip also got rave reviews.

We tried all 3 desserts on the menu and although we were full we demolished them!
