Open Market LA: artsy AND tasty spot to start your weekend right🥪☕

It’s just been so long since I had a non-homemade sandwich. Since I totally ran out of groceries Saturday morning, I decided to give Open Market a try. It did not disappoint me! This spot literally just opened about two months ago so it’s brand new and kind of hidden. But man, one of the coolest sandwich shops I’ve visited. It’s a tiny market with delicate grocery goods; also a little art museum with cool pictures, and of course, a tiny sandwich coffee house. They definitely got that aesthetic down!

My boyfriend and I got a Catalina sandwich and an Olympic sandwich. Catalina sandwich is a turkey sandwich with cashew pesto and avocado, and Olympic is a roasted chicken sandwich with pickled radish, basil, mint, and jalapeño aioli. They cut each sandwich in half so we both tasted the two choices. The bread is crunchy and fresh baked and each sandwich is jam packed with good high quality ingredients. Definitely a 10/10!

PS: we wanted to buy their groceries as well but they are all extremely overpriced so we decided to maybe just stick with Whole Foods😓😓
