Found all my plant pets in this little shop in Chinatown 🪴

Like many others, I have become a plant mom because of Covid, but finding plants I can enjoy and at the same time keep alive was quite a journey! After many attempts, I was able to find some cute but also low-maintenance plants that don’t need a green thumb to grow. I found this tiny little plant shop called Rainbow in Chinatown that has a good selection but also super affordable. It's right next to KimThai Garden but everything is way way cheaper.

The owner of this shop is the nicest and the most friendly: he gave us free soil and explained to us ways to grow different kinds of plants. Because our old money tree was destroyed by the wind on the balcony, he recommended us to keep a snake plant on our windy balcony since it’s sturdy and strong. A big pot of snake plant was less than $50 with the plant pot! At the end of our second visit, I told my boyfriend that I loved one of the purple and green plants, the owner overheard me and ended up just giving it to us for free!

We made a total of three trips to this plant shop and finally filled up our plant stand at home! Nothing beats the feeling of bringing these fresh, healthy plants home and taking care of them. Now our plant pets are absolutely thriving in our living room & balcony thanks to Rainbow👻
