A new brewery with a restaurant has opened its doors in Columbus.

On November 15, the Columbus location of Yellow Springs Brewery celebrated its grand opening, according to this social media post from the new spot. You can find the new brewery in the city's Clintonville neighborhood at 2855 Indianola Ave.

The new location's food menu - which is posted on the brewery's website - includes starters like pretzels with beer cheese, fries, butternut hummus, loaded fries (which are topped with beer cheese, flaming dust, bacon, chives, and sour cream), cheese curds, and more.

Also on the menu are sandwiches like a cheeseburger (which is topped with white cheddar, candied bacon, pickle, lettuce, onion, tomato, and 1001 dressing), sweet and spicy hot chicken sandwich (which has a fried chicken breast, dragon sauce, peanut slaw, and pickle), French dip sandwich (which has shaved ribeye, Swiss cheese, horseradish sauce, and au jus), and beer-battered fish sandwich.

If you don't eat meat, the restaurant offers a falafel wrap (which also has tzatziki, spinach, cucumber, pickled red onions, and marinated tomatoes) and butternut grilled cheese, which has butternut squash, chimichurri, white cheddar, mustard, and spinach.

If you need something to drink, the brewery, of course, offers beers on tap as well as cocktails.

Here is what a local guide had to say about the new addition to Columbus in a Google review:

Everything you’d expect from a tap room and really good food with some healthy options!

Another local guide wrote:

Really happy to see Yellow Springs Brewery expand to the Columbus area. I decided to pop in last night and check out the new location. It was busy, the staff was awesome, and the beer was tasty. If you're an IPA fan, I recommend Boat Show and Creative Space.

As another reviewer pointed out, the food does need some work. I had the Cheeseburger, which was just ok for the price. Add fries (which were pretty good), and it comes out to a $19 meal. Good, but not $19 good. I'll definitely be back for the beer, and will give the food another try as they figure things out.

If you want to check out the new restaurant, you can find it at 2855 Indianola Ave, Columbus, OH 43202.

The new place is open 6 days a week, Tuesday to Thursday from 3 PM to 10 PM, Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, Saturday from 12 PM to 11 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 9 PM. It is closed on Monday.
