A new restaurant has come to Akron.
On October 1, Akron's Farm Table celebrated its grand opening (though the restaurant opened for business earlier with a soft opening phase). You can find the new restaurant in Akron at 456 E South St.
As the name of the restaurant would suggest, Akron's Farm Table offers farm-to-table fare that is made with in-season produce and local ingredients.
The menu includes appetizers such as cheeseburger sliders, taco salad, chicken noodle soup, loaded nachos (which are loaded with homemade cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, seasoned beef, and lettuce), loaded fries (which are loaded with cheese, green onions, and bacon), pretzels with dip, and chips with cheese dip.
As for main courses, the restaurant offers pasta and meatballs, seared steak, meatloaf, meatloaf sandwiches, fish sandwiches, the Meat Sauce Hill (which the restaurant describes as an improved version of a meatball sub), seared chicken, seared salmon, and deep-fried fish.
As for sides, the restaurant serves French onion soup, mac and cheese, chicken noodle soup, sweet corn, French fries, green beans, mashed potatoes, and side salads.
If you have room for dessert, the restaurant is currently offering apple pie, which has a hand-made crust and whipped cream.

New restaurant turned out excellent meal. While the space is still in final preparations (they don’t even have a sign, yet), the service and food were exceptional. I chose the meatloaf - as much because I am recovering from some dental work which limits my chewing as because I love meatloaf - and was very pleased with my choice. The mashed potatoes and fresh green beans were just as delicious. My wife had the “Meat Sauce Hill” - homemade meatballs and tomato sauce served over locally baked Italian bread, with which she was very pleased. Portions were generous. The coffee, from Akron’s Pearl Coffee Company, was delicious. We highly recommend Akron’s Farm Table.

The restaurant is open 5 days a week, Thursday to Friday from 4 PM to 9 PM, Saturday to Sunday from 7 AM to 9 PM, and Monday from 4 PM to 9 PM. It is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
