A new restaurant has come to Columbus.

On September 23, the restaurant Star Kitchen Cafe had its grand opening (however, the new restaurant held its soft opening earlier in the month). You can find Star Kitchen Cafe in Columbus at 1471 S High St.

The menu includes sandwiches like the Mack Daddy (which is a crispy chicken sandwich with lettuce, caramelized onion, pickle chips, 1000 Island dressing, and American cheese), buffalo wrap (which is filled with crispy chicken, romaine hearts, tomato, shaved celery, and blue cheese dressing inside a tomato basil tortilla), Fire in the Hole (which is a spicy burger with ghost pepper cheese, pickled peppers, garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, and onion), and Polish Boy, which is a hot dog with a kielbasa, BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and French fries.

Other sandwiches include the Chicken Little (which has grilled chicken, smoked bacon, sharp cheddar, lettuce, and ranch dressing inside a flour tortilla), fried chicken skin BLT, Wack Arnold (which is a burger with onion, pickles, 1000 Island dressing, and Velveeta cheese sauce), and Merion Village, which is a gyro with meat, feta cheese, grilled peppers, onion, tomato, and tzatziki sauce.

Also served at the restaurant are chicken tenders, wings, and thighs as well as some salads, tater tots, onion rings, and cheese sticks.

I was so happy to see that a new place opened up just down the street. Just went for lunch and I was extremely pleased. The place is already so lovely and the decor isn’t fully complete yet. The food was so reasonably priced and tasted very good! Lots of sauce packet options. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Will definitely come here again and tell all my friends about it!!
