A popular breakfast spot in Bryan has closed its doors for good.

Earlier this month, Shaffer's Restaurant - which was located in Bryan at 309 N Main St - permanently closed. A sign was posted on the restaurant's door that said "Shaffer's sold closed." And when you call the restaurant's phone number (419)-636-0776, you get a voice notification that tells you the phone number has been disconnected.

According to the county auditor's website, the building (which has a parcel number of 063-170-28-011.000) was sold to Mansfield M Kee for $150,000 on September 18.

During its years of business, the local restaurant earned an average of 4.2 stars on Google reviews, an average of 4 stars on Tripadvisor, and an average of 3.5 stars on Yelp.
